Construction Project Manager DC Power

-          Responsible for the planning, engineering, execution and closing of several Comcast NorCal Telecom Headends:

•                                           DC electrical upgrades of DC power plant: new batteries installation and integration.
•                                           Created/revised CDs, redlined existing CDs to reflect the SOW.

Bechtel Communications 11/2013-6/2014

Construction Manager LTE, ETTCS

-          Planned and Engineered Ethernet to the cell site solutions (ETTCS) for ATT cellular sites in the VAWVA Market: formulated the Scope Of Work, assembled Visio Engineering Drawings As-builts, assembled lists of driver materials to be submitted to NORAD and performed Bid review activities with the General Contractors.

-          Project Managed ETTCS implementation with General Contractors and coordinated assigned work with other technical personnel as needed to support the construction team’s workload.

-          Reviewed RF Data Sheets (RDFS) for determination of onsite antenna work scope in support of the LTE 2C and 3C implementation.

-          Reviewed LTE 2C and 3C Engineering Drawings (CDs) and supported the Engineering team to improve the feasibility of constructability.

 

ATT Wireless 2/2010-6/2013

RAN, CAT Engineer

-          Managed Transport and MSN Capacity in support of the TPOE Implementation.

-          Responsible for transport resources allocation on OC3s and DS3s for T1 level circuits to complete end-to-end connectivity for cell site trunk group growth and New Site Builds. Designs often included transport segments on fiber optic and microwave networks.

-          Managed the Tellabs MSN ports capacity for multiple switch locations in the ATT Northeast and Southwest Regions by assigning T1 level resources for timely IUB and SIAD growth. Managed all T1, IMA and PVP records to ensure records quality.

-          Among tools used: Granite (WebXng, Xng) Granite Works (GW), Metrowatch, CTS, Utrack reporting system.

-          For each New site Build (NSB), created and distributed the CIQs necessary for Ops, MPC (ATT translations team), turf vendor such as Bechtel and the Ericsson/Lucent/Tellabs team to complete the data-fill. Assisted the teams through the turn-up process.

-          Initiated and implemented a Quality Assurance process to improve the Tellabs 8860 MSN capacity reporting and forecasted growth. As a result of this QA process the CAT, RAN and Core Engineering MSN planning teams were able to prevent capacity bottlenecks and proactively reassign resources across MSNs and regions as needed.

-          Performed weekly monitoring and executive management reporting for All Regions All Markets MSN T1s Capacity.

-          Performed Engineering Planning and coordinated route expansion and monitoring activities associated with the successful completion of all RF and BSC migrations in support of the Northern California market Optimization Project.

Sr. Capacity Planning Engineer - RF System Performance

-          Assisted the RF teams by producing and distributing performance indicator reports (KPIs) on a daily and weekly basis and monitored system status for all technologies.

-          Analyzed KPIs for newly turned up sites to ensure GOS is met and maintained.

-          Reviewed KPIs for existing cell sites and made recommendations for quality improvement to reduce and eliminate Lost Calls and Ineffective Attempts. The process included reviewing neighbor lists (part of the data-fill) to ensure possible traffic rebalance/offset will not affect the GOS/KPIs in the local cluster.

-          Used Mapinfo, input from drive test data, and Geoplan to visualize gaps in coverage thus enabling the team to identify possible locations (search areas) to support site acquisition, for future New Site Builds (NSBs).

-          Monitored the TDMA, GSM and UTRAN networks and drove work order creation for capacity expansion to meet current business requirements.

-          Gathered monthly system traffic data, consolidated, analyzed, and determined sites meeting blocking criteria.

-          Provided traffic support to network teams, particularly related to escalations, data blocking, capacity plans, and events.

Network Engineer

-          Engineered and coordinated the implementation of new equipment as mandated by headquarters including the ATM infrastructure to support WAP and later GPRS deployment.

-          Submitted requests for bids, evaluated bids and selected the appropriate vendors and/or contractors as needed to achieve fast and efficient integration of the new or expansion hardware.

-          For each job, performed by vendors and contractors, monitored performance to insure compliance with standards.

-          Maintained working relationships with major equipment manufacturers and vendors to obtain best prices and availability on switch equipment items to achieve timely completion of the project at hand.

-          Coordinated with Operations and RF Engineering implementation of new BSC equipment as dictated by the growth of the network.

-          Performed dynamic traffic and equipment forecasts in order to maintain GOS on all PSTN, Voicemail and IN routes.

-          Coordinated with HQ Engineering and Program Managed the implementation and integration of new Nokia HLR and associated signaling links in the newly turned up Orlando switch. Followed up with monitoring to ensure adequate minimum 6months @ 80% utilization of the HLR and related equipment (AAA).As part of deployment oversaw the successful completion of all the necessary call test scenarios and ensured synchronization with the preexisting Dallas and the Chicago HLRs.
